Sudbury Wolves OHL Team Photo Shoot

Wow, where has the time gone.  I am so far behind on my photos.  Here is a post for a photo shoot I did back at the end of July with the Sudbury Wolves OHL team.  They came down to St Thomas Ontario to spend some time at the beach and get a little exercise in at the same time.  They had joined up with Progressive Hockey Development by Mike Ellis and Bodies by Paton by Scott Paton. Mike Ellis (PHD) had asked me to come do some photos of the Sudbury Wolves team partaking in his program down at the St Thomas Timken Community Center.  "PHD hosted the first annual Sudbury Wolves summer training camp.  The two week camp included skating and skill development on ice, team building, physical conditioning and nutrition seminars off ice. This complete program was the first of its kind in the OHL." said Mike Ellis of PHD.   At the end of the Friday morning camp on Sept 25 2015, Dave Matsos (the coach of the team) was telling me about the exercise program that the team was going to be doing down at Port Stanley beach and would like me to come photograph it for him.  Of course I had to take him up on the offer.  We met down at the beach for 6:00pm where Scott Paton put them through a grueling one hour core exercise program.  I have to say that these athletes have amazing cardio stamina.  The sun was starting to get lower in the sky which was helping make for better photos and the temperature was starting to cool for the evening which I'm sure would have been appreciated by the athletes.

I hope to have this opportunity again next year as the program they are doing is expected to grow.  Here is a sneak peak at the photos taken during these sessions:
