L&H Wedding - Cambridge, Ont

What a great day this was! Lori from Cast and Crewe Photography had asked me to assist as a second photographer for her clients getting married on the shoreline of the Grand River. For this quaint micro wedding, Lori not only took on the roll of their Lead Photographer, but she also pulled off the roll wedding planner.

I first met with the Groom (Larry) at their home where he and his groomsmen were getting ready. I was astounded by the warmth and openness of everyone in their home when I arrived. We spent about an hour getting ready, I documented the process and then we headed out to the Limousine to make our way to the ceremony location.

When I arrived at the ceremony location, I was floored by the set up. It was a sweet open area covered by trees, right on the shoreline of the Grand River. Larry and his family got straight to work on setting up the on line stream and I started with documenting the details in the area. Lori then soon arrived with Heather (Bride), I peaked around the corner of the trail to see Heather standing at the top of the path in her gorgeous wedding dress, boasting of joy and excitement, just itching to make her way down to the ceremony.

Not only did Heather make her commitment to Larry on this day, but she also had a ring for Larry’s son to which she also put on his finger and gave her vows. It was a wonderful joining of family and I could see how much she meant to both of them on this day. It’s always great to see when joy and happiness come together in matrimony.

I’ve gathered a small sample of my favourite images from their special day.
