L&M Wedding - St.Thomas, Ont

I recently had the honour of meeting—and capturing—Laura and Marshall’s beautiful wedding day. Their intimate ceremony took place in one of the most charming spaces at the historic CASO Station, a venue that truly added to the magic of their celebration.

Surrounded by family and friends who travelled from all across Canada—and even a few who made the journey from across the pond—this gathering felt extra special. Loved ones who had been separated by time, distance, and life’s busy paths reunited to celebrate two of their favourite people. The day was filled with joyful conversations, heartfelt reunions, and plenty of laughter that echoed through the halls.

The morning began with Laura and her mother getting ready at the hotel, where the energy was calm, excited, and full of anticipation. From there, I made my way to the venue to meet Marshall and to begin documenting the day as guests arrived. I captured candid moments and ensured every detail in Anderson Hall was photographed before everyone made their way inside.

Once the ceremony concluded, we returned to Anderson Hall for a warm and lively cocktail hour. With the sun setting quickly this time of year, we slipped outside for family portraits, where a few hilarious family shenanigans unfolded—perfect for creating authentic memories. As the daylight faded, I decided to set up multiple flash locations throughout the venue so I could bring Laura and Marshall to beautifully lit spots with minimal interruption to them or their guests.

This approach ended up becoming a highlight of the night. Guests were so entertained by the creative setups that it naturally evolved into a mini photo-party. People began suggesting fun shot ideas, gathering their groups, and spontaneously asking for photos. I absolutely loved this part of the evening—it gave me full creative control of the lighting and allowed the charm of CASO Station, along with Laura and Marshall’s radiant energy, to shine through in every frame.

Here are a few sneak peeks from their day! I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
